Q: What is my photography style?

 

A: My photography style combines documentary and editorial approaches. I capture authentic, unscripted moments, focusing on emotion and storytelling, allowing the narrative of the wedding to unfold organically. All the while I carefully compose shots and create images that are visually striking and sophisticated, often reminiscent of high-end magazine editorials.  

I offer two editing styles: true-to-life colors for vibrancy, bright whites, natural skin tones, true to the original scene and a dark, moody aesthetic featuring a darker atmospheric feel to create depth and drama.

Overall, my style combines the honesty and emotion of documentary photography with the sophistication and elegance of editorial work, enhanced by an editing approach that balances vibrant realism and an unparalleled richness in depth and mood.

 

Q: How do you approach a wedding as a photographer?

 

A: I approach each wedding with flexibility and an open mind, tailoring my approach to the couple’s unique vision for their big day. I aim to blend into the background, capturing candid moments while also ensuring I get the key shots that matter most. I’m adaptable and creative, always thinking outside the box to provide fresh, timeless images.

 

Q: How do you ensure you get all the important shots without being intrusive?

 

A: I work closely with the couple before the wedding to understand the must-have shots and key moments they want to capture. I then work discreetly and efficiently during the event, using my ability to blend into the surroundings, making sure not to disrupt the flow while ensuring no key moment is missed.

 

Q: What can couples expect in terms of service on their big day?

 

A: I’m committed to offering world-class customer service. From the moment we discuss your vision to the final delivery of your photos, I ensure clear communication, quick problem-solving, and a relaxed yet professional attitude. I make sure you feel confident and supported throughout the day, allowing you to focus on enjoying the celebration.

 

Q: What makes you stand out as a wedding photographer?  

 

A: My unique combination of creativity, adaptability, and commitment to world-class service sets me apart. I’m not just there to take photos—I’m there to create a personalized, memorable experience for you. Whether it’s capturing emotional moments or designing fresh, artistic shots, I ensure that your wedding photography reflects your personality and combine it with my photographic style.

 

Q: How do you ensure smooth communication and experience for the couple?

 

A: I prioritize clear communication and a seamless experience. From pre-wedding consultations to on-the-day interactions, I’m proactive and attentive to your needs. I make sure to check in with the couple throughout the day, ensuring everything runs smoothly and all expectations are met.

 

Q: How long after the wedding will I get to the photographs?

 

A: I typically deliver all images within 7-8 weeks after the wedding. If you need them sooner, I offer expedited delivery within 2-4 weeks for an additional fee of $350. You'll also receive sneak peeks or highlights within 48 hours of the wedding.

The photos will be delivered to your email with a link to your online gallery. From there, you can download your photos with the provided PIN, share the link with friends/family, share to social media, and order prints.

 

Q: Should we take engagement session photos? Why is it important?

 

A: Yes, an engagement session is highly recommended! It's a great opportunity for us to get to know each other before the big day, helping you feel more comfortable in front of the camera. It also allows you to practice posing, and you'll get a sense of what it's like to work with me. Engagement photos can also be used for save-the-dates, invitations, and decor at your wedding, making them a valuable addition to your photography collection. Plus, it’s a fun experience that celebrates this special moment in your journey together!

 

Q: Do you provide the unedited RAW image files?

 

A: The images in your gallery will be edited to enhance lighting, contrast, sharpness, and color—standard processes for professional digital photography. As such, I do not provide the unedited RAW files.

 

Q: Should I opt-in for a second shooter?

 

A: A second shooter can be a great addition to your wedding photography for several reasons. First, it allows for capturing special moments when you and your partner are in different locations, like during the "getting ready" phase before the ceremony. A second photographer also offers the ability to capture different angles and provides better coverage of key moments throughout the day. For example, while you're walking down the aisle, a second shooter can capture your smile, the back of your dress, and your partner’s reaction all at once. While I strive to capture these moments solo, having a second shooter ensures no precious memories are missed. Additionally, for weddings with over 150 guests, a second shooter is recommended to ensure comprehensive coverage of both guests and families while the primary photographer focuses on the couple.
